Great episode! I loved the discussion of the extra scene on the HBP dvd (the Snape scene, of course). What I loved about that scene is that when you first see Snape he looks like he is smiling and then it looks like he is worried…the one mystery moment in the film and they took it out. It was the most beautiful scene.

    Dear Snapecast,
What a great way to celebrate Snape’s 50th birthday! I enjoyed the show very much, but I have one favor to ask. The Segway Snape link isn’t working – can that be fixed? I’d love to see it!
And Becca – your song was AWESOME! Great way to close out the show!

Love “Snape’s on a Segway”…I hope there is a way for someone to vid this, a la Snape’s on a Plane. Thanks for your continued efforts to be the voices of reason regarding the HBP movie.

this ep should have been called “Please make eye contact with me!” I laughed so loud and so bitterly at that line, that my pug jumped up & barked at the world!

Thanks for this much awaited episode! Now if we can just make that Uncle Alan connection….

“Please make eye contact with me,” he whispered, the blue eyes found the black. ROFL.

I confess to being in Armitage’s Army, and I am so glad I am not the only one to see the Snape connection. Check out the sneer when he plays Guy of Gisbon, and the black cladness – very Snapey.

Great episode – Love the Lady Ga Ga song, but I can’t get it out my head.

I first saw Richard Armitage on BBC’s Robin Hood and immediately Netflixed what I could with him with it, and he plays an intense soul perfectly!
